Here is some info for you, doesn't exactly say what you are looking for, but shows skier visits by region and some other cool info. The Rockies get more traffic than anyone else. The east coast has very small resorts in comparison to the resorts out west, I think Vail alone can put something like 50,000 people up on the mountain in just one hour.
