In a jam.... Boots!

So I am giving my boots this year to my brother to use next year.  But now I don't have boots and I can't be sure my foot is done growing so I don't want to spend the big bucks to only use a sweet boot for one season.  I got my boots last year.. some langes off ebay for 99 bucks and they worked pretty much fine for me all season. Anyone have suggestions on what boot I can and should get on sale for under 200 that will work well? My foot fits into pretty much anything it seems and I ski like 80-90% park. Thanks.

my suggestion would be to go to a shop and try on some boots. Thats unusual that you would find a great boot offline but whatever works. But go to a shop try on some park boots walk around for like 10 minutes try one the most expensive and the least expensive, then go on here and try and find a deal or online on the boot that fit the best. you can probably find some pretty good deals. But ya might have better luck haveing a boot inmind with the right fit before you just go out and buy a boot.

pretty much what to do, try em on first before buying because you dont want to be stuck with boots that cost 100-200 and hurt when u wear em

In all honesty good boots are worth any amount of money. They determine how well you can control your skis, your position on your skis, and also whether or not you are comfortable when skiing. Go to a store and don't be afraid to spend a little more than you had planned, it will pay off in the end.

First thing first, go to a boot fitter, find out your PROPER size, not what feels 'good', try on a few boots, see what fits your foot best. Like a wide boot (SPK), or a narrow boot (Gun/Langes). After you know the correct size, come onto NS and see if anyone is selling a boot in your size, in your price range.

most NSers like will tell you to get full tilts, and if Langes did just fine, your foot is probably narrow

Yeah, bootfitter is definitely first step. Then I'd look around online. It seems you can always find good deals on boots online.

Thanks for all the responses guys. But here is the biggest factor here.  Should I dish out the extra cash for full tilts or some other park boot even if its possible I will not be able to use it more than a season if my foot grows? Thanks
