i think women are given way to much power in this country

they have almost absolute power to destroy a mans reputation and possibly their life by claiming rape. Men have no power even close to this. And the women don't even need any evidence, and they cant get in any trouble for claiming a rape that never happened. They can also have sex consentually, get in an argument with the guy, and then claim rape in revenge. This happened to a guy I know and he was an inch away from going to jail for years, but they found out it was consentual so he didn't get charged. But of course, no punishment for the girl who almost cost this guy a large chunk of his life. Girls like this make me think that the punishment for rape is too harsh. If a girl thinks she can just claim rape because she is mad at someone, it makes me feel like maybe the punishment for rape is unjustified. If I was a girl i think i would rather be raped than get shot by someone, but the punishment for being raped is i think much higher than it is for being shot. This is fucked up in my opinion


 Also, women can use anything to get a sexaul harassment lawsuit against you and cost you all your money in a lawsuit etc... Some prissy bitch i know might be doing that right now.

And in a divorce woman automatically get half of what a man earned while they were together, even if she did absolutely nothing other than being a soccer mom etc...

goddamn...  some people have issues...  some women go "womens rights!!!  womens rights!!!!" and when they get equal work at lets say a construction job or some shit but cant pull their weight at the pay scale they get bitchy...  its fucking stupid.

the BEST and probably funniest example of hypocrite people yelling for rights is the dumb pornstar yelling women's rights and then getting throat fucked in a video after that.

women's rights, yes are all well and good...  but some women need to not contradicte themselves by not being able to pull equal amount of the workload in the work place....

except it is in its own little ways...  people are always competing from the time they are babies.  babies compete for their moms attention if there are multiple ones in a house.  as a young child you compete for the spot on the Tee ball team, the ballet team, or some other team if you do those sort of activities, in middle school competition becomes higher once sports start cranking, music, or even academics to an extent.  high school there is competition for the hot girl, the hot guy, the sexiest car (or truck), the parking space, and also as a junior and senior the grades.  and then you start competing against people you dont even know for the job with the city or at a company, the spot at the college you want, or even both.  so in essence, what you said isnt true....  everything we humans do is a competition in its own little way.  if you go to a party and sit and watch people you can see it occur hundreds even THOUSANDS of times in a matter of hours.

No, there will be plenty of 4Fs to run the cities and the keep the country going. It opens up a nice spot for women on the frontlines of combat, side by side with the men. No more of this back of the line, non combat roles.

I argued about this whole thing with my womens studies class for 3 months, and the final conclusion we came to was that the problem with most women's activists is that they want the same rights, without the responsibility that accompanies them. (for the record i was involuntarily placed in that class, but it turned out fairly interesting and the prof loved having a guy argue everything) If you do the exact same workload, you'll get paid the same. If you have all the same rights, then you have the same responsibilities. One of the worst situations regarding this i can imagine would be a predominantly female congress, or whoever reinstates the draft, forcing men to fight but not the women. If a female president reinstated the draft as is, and sent no women, i'd refuse to go. I would only give in and go if women gave up something of equal value. I join to  potentially lose my life, then a woman should lose something too. Of course that is a 100% hypothetical, unlikely situation, but it is just a part of this whole issue

well thats a completely fair argument.
i have to admit though, that a lot of women are uncapable of battle, but so are a lot of men. in all rights, im against forced conscription to begin with. and in case no ones noticed, women are now in the army, navy and police force, firefighters, astronauts, construction, sciences, doctors and whatnot.
the rights movement was to allow women the access to those jobs should they desire them and to not be sexually objectified by men and considered completely useless. to gain equal rights to drive, get paid, and to be considered human.
our society hasnt passed the limits where women dont want to be taken care of, but that being said, i as a woman, i would like that, but wouldnt think it fair to sit around while my husband did all the work.
the issue is to instill balance, so that things function with proper dynamics and order.
most women will never be stronger than men, and thats a genetic fact, and if for thousands of years mostly small women have been bred then they are the process. some women could probably take out some men, and thats just a fact as in the same, some men are smaller than women and would never win a physical battle.
the issue with women running was based basically on the 1940s, because men said we werent good enough for centuries, then they had to go and we proved we were capable of a lot of every day tasks. which ultimately turned a lot of things around for a lot of families and a lot of women didnt want to go back to the kitchen.
yep i said it.
if a lot of people werent so wrapped in women being thin and tiny, they could perhaps meet their adversaries, but that would take some time to ever be possible.
theres a lot of issues with activists in general and a lot of extremists are completely useless.

Jenifa, I can't begin to describe how angry your posts make me.
I'm not in the mood for a rant so I'll keep it short:
Yes women should have rights, and yes rape is horrible, I know 2 girls who have been raped and it's horrible.  But your attitude and arguments just piss me off.  If women want equal rights they should take the responsibilities and disadvantages that come with them.  Not all men are slobs.

I'm done for now.  I have more to say but don't feel like wasting the energy on a stubborn bitch determined to make everyone agree with her arguments which have had their wholes clearly pointed out and who never addresses the holes pointed out.

bump i remember this thread and its funny how the same situation has come up with dominic strauss kahn, the president of the imf, who has recently been accused of attempted sexual assault and his life has been ruined. So again because WOMEN NEVER LIE a very afluent man is being accused of rape and the entire country is jumping on it as if the accusation from a housekeeper was the word of God. seriously, if this housekeeper turns out to have lied and there is no evidence of rape, she MUST GO TO JAIL to be fair. I agree womens rights are a joke!!!! they say they are not treated equally but in fact the get treated just as equal or better. And i defiantly agree with your rape theory. My football coach, back in highshool, got accused of sexual harassment. This got him fired and later the girl finally admitted that she did this just to get attention, but ended up fucking over this guys life.

I really want to read the whole thread now, but I agree that in the case the OP makes it is fucked up, but women deserve all the rights that anyone else gets. But when they do something like claiming a false rape, that is fucked up. I would explode with anger if a girl did that to me. I don't think any girl I would be with would do that though, at least I hope.
