Things to do in B-town 5th-7th?

I'll be in Burlington from this Friday night until Sunday night for orientation at UVM. We have plenty of downtime in the evening and early morning.

 Is there anything special going on that I should hit up? I'm making the drive myself so I'll have my car with me. If there is nothing special, does anyone have some suggestions for some activities to do with my new friends that I hope to make.

you can go to the skatepark, maybe do a little cliff jumping (but it's probably still cold), or do more touristy things like hang out on church street of drive to waterbury and get a tour of the ben and jerry's factory.  i'd suggest doing things at the begining of this list.

ill be a freshman too next year!! but im not going to this orientation and i live 10 min. away...u can cliff jump at red rocks or shop on church street, hit the skatepark, or make the drive all the way to ben and jerrys and maybe ill be giving a tour :)...if i am ill have an Ns sticker on my security tag

In all honesty, just explore the city if you have time. It's not like you have much downtime, they usually keep you pretty busy. But keep in mind, I believe they lock the doors to the dorms at midnight, so get back before then and you should be good.

So yeah, I'd say just go down to the lake, drive around, and hit up Church St. Have fun.

go to Mr. Mikes on the corner of S. Winooski and Main St.  They have awesome buffalo chicken pizza, you can drink with a fake, and they also have bomb ass video games.  Buck hunter, pool, and arcade basketball.
