Bike Motor?

I wanna get a motor on my bike (for a grand total of moped). Ideally my bmx.
Has anyone done this before that could give me shit to make sure I do or avoid and/or the cheapest option to purchase?
Preferably gas just cos I wanna get here it scream out the straight pipe I also wanna rig up :)
But hey, electric is sweet and friendly :)
I'll leave it up to yous. (that's plural, I'm just gonna finally make it happen)

You want to put it on a BMX bike?  I would recommend buying an old rigid mountain bike and putting it on there.  Get some slick tires and you should be set.  Some guy has a bike like that and me an my friends will be riding at the local park hitting the dirt jumps, he will cruise by and we race him.  We usually pass him pretty quickly, but then we get tired out and he will pass us up.

One of my neighbors made one of these and rode it to work all the time, it went like 45 but it was kind of ghetto and scary going that fast. He found some kits online so search around for that maybe.
