Im a big fan of Talib Kweli, hes kind of lesser known

also Blue Scholars is pretty good if you like that kind of hip hop

It is relatively hard to determine what kind of rap or hip-hop you might be looking for since the genre you asked for is quite big. There are dozens of names that you should hit up and it is all a matter of what you like yourself.
