Line chronic review

Hey I was wondering if a few people can tell me if the line chronics are worth it.  I have heard they are good but want to know if they are well weighted and durable.  I have 2006 line motherships right now and they are too light.  i also have 2008 K2 fujatives and like the weight placement on those but think they are just a little too heavy for park.  someone who rides the line chronics, are these skis worth it?

Well, considering you can get previous seasons ones for rather cheap, i think they are worth it.

I ride them with salomon z10s and they are really light, as are most of lines skis i think. if you've ever ridden ar6s or disorderlys they are stiffer than those. i really like mine for just going fast on groomers, and jumps are so fun with them. I"m not really good at rails, so i can't say if they affect switch up performance being rather stiff. I'm also like 116 pounds last time i was weighed, so that may attribute to there stifness.

Yeah i've ridden the chronics and they are super light weight and fun. but they are soo stiff. they are great on jumps and also awesome just riding around outside the park. but how much time will you be spending in the park? if more than 90% then i would get like the anthems those are light weight and even more fun than the chronics. and lightness doesnt really matter. i could barely feel the difference from riding the fujative then riding the chronics. but im hapy now that i have the anthems

I mainly ride park.  I am 145, 5'10".  Lines seem sick but if the chronics are too stiff I might look for something with more flex because i really like to get buttery on that shit.  any other suggestions for buttery ass skis?

yeah get the anthems then. i mean chronics are indestructable (i love my pair) but if it's buttering and park you wanna do then go with something softer.

Im 6 foot 200lbs, more of a muscular build /claim haha. I was wondering how would a person of my size do with these? I prefer skis that are a bit smaller then i am so I was thinking about getting a pair of 176's. I would be skiing mainly on-piste in the park. I am coming off a pair of last years invaders which I really enjoyed but they were way to soft and flexible for me and the topsheets took a hell of a beating so I want to upgrade to something just as wide if not wider that will be able to handle my weight, be a bit stiffer but still be able to handle rails decently. I know these are sick for jumps but I would like to know how people have handled them on rails. Thanks guys

hey, i know i started this thread asking about the chronics, but from what i have researched and what people have told me it seems as though they do fine on rails.  especially if you are 6ft 200lbs these skis are probably perfect for you.  also, i have heard they are really well constructed (as all line's are) and dont break down from hitting rails all the time.  Im probably going to go with the 2010 anthems if i can find them for cheap somewhere because i like the extra flex.  but you are bigger than me so you could probably butter the chronics out no prob.

searchbar reviews on chronics. there is a whole section on this site for reviews.

you can also go to lineskis.com and watch the video and lines review on them. they are a really good jump ski. super light. and they are stiff
