Alright, so today was going good, it was sunny out and everything was going well. Me and my friends were starting to get hungry so we decided to go in to get some lunch. We found a table and put all of our stuff on it so we could 'reserve' it while we went to go get some food. In this 5-10 minute period some fucker took my goggles (brand new oakley wisoms) and my friends goggles and helmet. The guy was so sly that my friends that were sitting at the table next to it didn't even notice. So we talk to the manager and he tells us to go file a report down in the main office. So we walk down there and talk to the people and it turns out about 10 different people have reported stolen goggles. About a month ago someone stole my backpack, this shit has to stop. It's totaly ruining the skiing experience. You shouldn't have to go up to the mountain and constantly worry about shit getting stolen.

Well thats my little rant....

in MA practiclly nobody has thier own skis. So the hill that i go to had to get a thing called ski watch set up because so many fuckers that dont have their own skis steal them. The mountain is sketchy because there are so many people there that will do anything for anything.

my skis have been stolen twice because Im a dumb shit. For really nice goggles, just wear them on your head when you go to get lunch.

at boyne mountian just after x-mass my friend had a brand new pair of atomic that he had gotten, we went in for dinner and then we came out, and his skis were gone, he was so fucking pissed...people who steal shit DO deserve to die!

yea dood people who steal suck....as for the food, i get half off everything, cause i work at my local mountain (so with half off, the food is actualy reasonable price), but i still end up stealing from there anyway....that blows that ur shit got stolen...dont leave ur stuff there, just tell a friend to sit there and save the seat....word

Im paranoid about theft. I always keep my skis. At my local mtn we have a ski watch so if u have to, u can check your skis in, or if its a must just get a good lock and lock your stuff up. . .oh and it a sign says no skis in a lodge, just bring them in anyway. I always do, haha

ski locks only work until someone comes along with bolt cutters. As for your backpack in the lodge, keeping it on makes it MUCH easier to steal overpriced food from the cafeteria, which is evil and shouldn't be done. Lesson of the day: Don't steal skis, and don't steal from your mountain.

Stealing Microsoft software is still OK though. No one likes Microsoft.

The way that I prevent my skis from getting stolen is by putting them somewhere where I can always see them, usualy infront of the window. If I can't do that I try to hide them behind other peoples skis. I think they deserve to die is a little harsh though....

don't even buy food, make your own. me and my buddies make sandiwches or bring soup that my mom makes homemade. one time me and my buddy and his brother all took our sandiwches up the lift, found a nice spot in the woods, kicked back with a blunt ate dinner then went night skiing.

But i'd say you were a bit careless too. If your bag got stolen from the same mountain before, you should have been on high alert and not let anything out of your site. Like spend the extra buck on a locker or walk to the car if it's close. Are you the same guy that got his camera that was in his bag stolen?

Also your friends are moron's if their job was to sit and watch your gear. and the gear got stolen.

If you know your hill is sketchy and things get stolen u need to take some extra procautions and DTA (don't trust anybody!)
