its just north of west rutland, not 5 minutes out, you can throw a rock at it from the highway. You can see the face and not the water from the highway. I really have no problem giving the location because. It is litetrally just off the highwat

Wow that's weird. I'm from castleton and used to drive to my dads in proctor all the time up rt 3 and i can't figure out the place you're talking about. The closest accessible/swimmable quarry I've been to from where my parents live in Castleton is heading out of W. Rutland toward Ira just off 133. that one's definitely not visible from the road.
