Mtn bike trails near Cinci

if you want to venture a little further north, there are some unbelievably cool trails relatively close to snowtrails.  the place is called mohican wilderness and the trails are awesome.  there are a few intense xc loops that are insanely technical and demanding.  also, there are a couple of downhill trails that are pretty serious.  crazy fast sections, huge rock gardens, and really serious stunts.  there's even a 15 foot cliffer by the parking lot.   i've been racing there on and off since i was like 12 and it's been an awesome experience. 

If youre looking for dh, mohican is sick and there is also a dh freeride trail in Newark called Honrns Hill thats probably a little closer for you.  Plus, I know a few guys from cinci that go there almost every weekend.  Heres probably the best video from horns.  Goto http://www.chainsmoke.net/forum/showthread.php?p=40056#post40056 to look for when people are riding.

Thanks for the replies guys! The Horns place looks real siiick! Anyone else know of any other trails? I will definitly have to check out those places this summer. Hopefully I can find some more trails close to me too.

Thats a pretty good source for xc trails.  I dont have much personal experiance because when I do ride xc I mainly do alum creek just because its close.

Heres some vids from mohicans dh which is a bit different than horns but just as fun if not more fun.  Horns is more of just a freeride like a bmx track pointed downhill and mohican is more of a natural rocky handbuilt trail.

hell yea man. i have to put some work into my bike before it's rideable for this season, but i'm really excited to start as soon as possible. i'll probably be up and running in the next couple of weeks.

Hey Josh, me and a couple of other guys are planning on shuttling mohican next wednesday.  Usually we get there about 430 or 5 and ride till its too dark.  Let me know if you want to go. 

Also, you are the GM at madriver right?  I wore the white jacket, black pants, and was on bluehouse mrs.
