ok so here is a video that i have been working on honestly for a month. i have put so much effort into this...

i did not film any of it so the critiquing is only for the editing....

Filming could use some work(use a tripod more), good editing, i though passion pit fit pretty well. Looked like a really fun trip.

The second song wasn't a good choice, but overall, the editing fitted the songs well. you didn't abuse of fancy effexts, which is pretty good too.

not here for any constructive advice,

but everytime i see the title VERY HARD critque needed...  i pretty much crack up, thats just me but there are other ways to word that lol

Steady cam. wow.
I know you didnt you the video.
In about 2 mins, going, off the cliff, make those shorter.
TOO much vignette. Damn.
Make it lighter.
If you want the grain, make it monochromic.
It just looks like a lot of noise right now.
If you want it to look "older," add a little sepia, but not much.
Other then that, not bad at all.

the editing was good and all, but you should stick to a theme, like at the beggining it kind of had the indie/chill vibe and it changes throughout, in a short video like this you should of tried to keep the same style the whole way through- obviously you know how to edit well you should just try and make it a ll flow together a bit.

i thought it was pretty dope. yea shitty filming which I understand you didnt do but you made great use of the footy IMO. i liked the channel surfing part a lot. whatd yyou edit in?

ya im pissed i couldent go to film. this video would have been so much different. its really hard to work with fotage that isnt yours.

and i edit in sony vegas 7. no mac for me

but i would cut back on the dead time. run up and run offs of the skiers..just too much of it.

I thought Passion pit fit pretty well.  The editing was pretty good, with the second part being much better than the first.

I personally do not like the channel surfing though.

Intro was nice and I'm sure it took a TON of work.
But you definitely need to invest in a tripod, and reduce the amount of graphics a little bit.
Overall a good video.

too much filler shots, shorten it up, definitely could have easily been in one song, not two.

and less graphics, what you have of the graphics is good, but there are too much of them.

not enough actual skiing and riding if you ask me, putting it to the music was nice, but there were a few shots that probably were not needed.

i loved the intro but after a minute or so i just got tired and wanted to see the skiing also if you make the music correlate with skiing as far as after a big drop have the music get louder. its not easy to do though though your already good enough at the rest of the editing.
