i have to write a paper for english, the topic is pick one person on earth who you think you should send to hell, make their circle of hell and their punishment. we are reading the book dante's inferno if that helps with punishments/you might understand a little better.

We had to read it and do the punishment thing also. It is also a religious school. But what I did is just pick random people like Paris Hilton and random kids around my class and sex offenders and stuff.

Well no I mean like since the essay has nothing to do with the book, you don't actually need to read the book to do the essay.

As a side note, man I wish I went to religious school that sounds like a blast if you get to write essays like that.

if you want to completely own your teacher I myself would write something like this:

I would send no one to hell. This is because using your logic then I would be judging and sentencing someone to an eternity of suffering. Then, I would be playing the role of god, which would go against worshiping false Gods and idolitry (sp?).

that is assuming you attend a religous school, because this essay could not happen in school.

this is in a public school. this has nothing to do with religion really.

its basically who do you believe deserves punishment and what is it.

i dont think its really messed up. he doesnt care if we write "soulja boy. that guy is a tool." as long as we explain our reasons and whatnot. cool teacher, one of the funniest ive ever heard of.
