Bent Chetlers

So I just demoed them yesterday at Whistler. In probably every condition imaginable.
We had some pow up top, hard packed in alpine and slush lower down.
And let me say...

THEY'RE AWESOME!!! No complaints what so ever, not the best if you're doing park but they're still sick everywhere on the mountain! Definitely buying a pair, they're probably the best ski ive ever been on.

I wouldn't say awesome for everything, I would say awesome for everything for a ski with that design.

I was definitely surprised at how stable they ski for that type of construction; great edge hold for the contact length, and pretty powerful through crud.  Definitely a go-to ski for next year.

I've been eyeballing the pair we got shipped early, and has a rad base graphic too.

how are they in a low snow? like 6 inches or less?  i live in ct, and considering this for if i move up to vt next year.

awesome man! they made 6 inches feel like a foot!
and they didnt suck on the groomers back for another lap, unlike a lot of rockered skis.

Would the 185jj' or bent chetlers be more suitable for a person: 5'6" and 140lbs?

im not sure man, i havent ridden the bents. but from what i can imagine...
the bentchetlers have regular camber underfoot, plus they're stiffer so they are great for ripping groomers as well... that would be the biggest difference i could think of

i havent tried out the jjs, but id say the bentchetlers are a safe choice. they are an awesome ski! and they feel a lot smaller than they actually are... so that helps

I rode the bents for half a season and what I found is that with the rocker sending cliffs are a little difficult because when you land you tend to wheely. Plus, in about 15 days of riding the metal tip protectors broke off exposing the wood core.

i want them reallll bad but i believe they only come in 183cm? thats jus ridiculous for my size (5'6")

They're rockered cuz, they ski way shorter. Might look huge on your tiny, fragile little body though.
