They are solid skis, on the stiffer side though, they make great snowboards, but i do not know how these hold up on rails. heard the edges come out like no deal but other than that they are great for jumps etc. magne traction is also great.
They must be making enough or they would have quit years ago.
"Restless" by The Broadways
i fell asleep on the side of the mountain
and i woke up to a peaceful morning
i took a deep breath as i stared across the canyon exhausted
hard concrete screaming my name
another year for me of worthless destiny
i've been waiting for the perfect time to scream
holding on and waiting for a better dream
i let so many slip through my fingers
as i watched the clock fade into the morning
It's true they are stiff, ridiculously so in my opinion, I looked at the whole range the other day and none of them felt any fun. The guy in the store also told me they are putting the price up next year by like $200 per pair.
the problem is that they dont advertise or market the skis really and the majority of people havent ridden them or seen them in person for that matter and they have a new technology so people are skeptic about it. they def need to throw out some demo's i would consider these skis after riding them i woudnt get htem without it tho
"You put on your boots, click into your bindings, dust the snow off your skis, and head out for the chair, and it doesn't matter that you failed a test, didn't get the girl, or that your life is on a one way trip down the shitter, your world is right for the next couple of hours."
I think they are very very sick jump skis and seem to be well made haven't herd much negative but when i rode they handled jumps like a boss and where stiff but good on rails i liked them they where just to damn expensive ha
magnetraction would work great for snowboarders cause the dont have there stance in the middle of the board so they wouldnt have as many points of contact... but with skiers the foot is in the middle of the ski and with a camber it pushes down and you have all points of contact... great idea for snowboarders a gimic for skiers...
First off stiffness is subjective; I think they are ridiculously stiff, and I'm 24 and a full 2 bills.
I also think my 179 Surface Live Life 2s are too stiff. (side note skied them 3 times, mounted -2 with Look px12 (for 28.5 SPK Pros), $400, I liked them but didn't love them; don't want them any more.)
My cousin has the NAS Park from 2 years ago, and for the ice of Massachusetts says the Magnatraction's legit.
