i live right near the forest park/pinewoods cemetery which is said to be one of the seven gates of hell. people have gone in and come out with scratches over their faces n shit.

my friend matts house was literally across the street from pinewoods. Thats where the crying mary statue is we went there one night and ill never go back. On Halloween and the other big satanic holiday(i forgot the name its in march though) they have cops posted at all the entrances because its like a super holy place of worship for satan worshippers. Place is scary as fuck

I have heard all the stories about Pinewoods. I have been there a couple of times in the past. I have had many weird encounters there, but not like this one. Myself and six other people decided to pay a visit on Saturday night, we parked down the road headed toward the Troy Country Club. We were all very scared, but still wanted to go in.

It was me, my younger brother, Adam, his friend Troy, my fiancée, Candi, and our friends Melissa, Nicole and Jay. As we entered the cemetery, we heard many weird sounds. They kind of sounded like voices. I had the flashlight so we ventured towards the mausoleum and stopped in front -- we heard some movement in front of us. I started searching the trees around us with the flashlight -- a tree next to my friend Jay started to crack as if something was climbing it, but nothing was there. We stood there too scared to go on for about three minutes. Finally, my friend Jay said, "Ok, who here has balls?" and he started walking towards the path that leads to those headless statues. My crazy brother followed him and his friend Troy followed too, then we heard a sound from the mausoleum. The three came back to where the rest of us were standing. It sounded like something was walking towards us, but I couldn't see anything. Jay came up to me and said, "Whatever is coming towards us is right there in those trees." We all had a feeling that something was right there. Then Nicole points at my face and says to Candi to look at it. Candi saw it and said, "Oh my god." I got scared because I thought they were pointing to something behind me. I said "What the f---!" The rest all look at my face and started freaking out. They all shouted that my face was bleeding. As soon as they said that, I felt my face kind of burn. I started running towards the road and they all followed screaming. I got to the car and felt as if I had to throw up. They all shined the flashlight on my face and start freaking out -- we jumped into the car and peeled out. I looked at my face in the mirror and saw two gashes on my left cheek. Blood was dripping down to my neck.

A few hours and a few beers later -- we went back, but this time with two more people -- Dennis and Phil. They saw the scratches on my face and were skeptical, but they knew that the way we walked in there were no trees or branches that could have done that. Even inside, trees aren't low enough unless you go towards the back. We walked closer this time -- I didn't want to hold the flashlight because I thought that was why I got attacked -- I put my hood up too. We walked closer to the mausoleum this time, and we all started to hear strange noises again. Dennis, the one with the flashlight, saw eyes up ahead and so did my brother once Dennis pointed them out. We weren't in there for even five minutes when Troy looked at my face and said, "Evan, let's go back to the road now." He said this very calmly. Everyone looked at my face again and started freaking out so I took off. I wanted to punch Troy because I thought he was messing with me, but as soon as we got to the road the flashlight was put on my face again and there were five scratches on my right cheek this time. Two of the scratches were in the shape of a X. I was at the breaking point of crying when we started back towards the car. On the way back to drop my friends off, Troy said that he was watching my face the whole time. He said all he saw was the blood start forming on my face -- he didn't see anything make the scratches, and again I felt nothing. We dropped my friends off in Lansingburgh and me, Candi, Adam, and Troy drove back to Clifton Park. The whole way home the lights inside the car were going on and off over and over again. I said out loud, "I'm sorry we went there and bothered you, can you please leave us alone?" The lights then stayed on and I couldn't get them off. Finally, they turned off when we go to Halfmoon.

The scratches on my face today look very clean and straight, but they are still very noticeable. Everyone asks me what happened and I just tell them I got into a fight -- no one would believe my story if I told them, but I have eight other witnesses, two of which I just met that night when we went back the second time.

Forest Park Cemetery is freaky and messed up. This was the third time that I had been scratched up by something unseen. the first time was at a friend's house years ago when I felt a hand go down my back, when I pulled my shirt up there were four claw marks going down my back. The second was a few years ago when I went to Pinewoods during the day -- they were all over my body, but I didn't feel them. The last time was the worst because it was on my face and they actually bled -- and someone actually saw them just appear on my face. Why does this happen to me?

So I work at the local ski area, 7 years in the Rental shop and this year was on park crew, and have experienced my fair share of weird shit, and also heard a few stories, so I'll go ahead and tell them.

Story 1:

Our ski patrol sweeps the hill every night after close and makes sure there isn't anyone on the runs. As one of the patrollers is going down and checking one night, he hears a little girl behind him over his shoulder say either "Help me" or "Hello," I can't remember which. He radios and says he is going to check it out, and after over half an hour of looking, he finds nothing. Several patrollers and groomers have heard the same voice.

Story 2, similar to story 1:

This story involves a haunted snow gun. This gun won't stay locked down, will adjust itself, change its own settings etc. We make all of our snow, and have one of the best snowmaking systems in the world, and our maintenece guys double as our snowmakers on top of numerous other duties. One maintenence guy, we'll call him Joe, is known kind of as a whiner. One night he is walking down towards the haunted gun when he falls through a hole in the snow, breaking his ankle. He radios for help, but none of the other maintenence guys believe, they figure he is just being his usual self. So he's up there for 15 minutes, calling a few more times before someone goes up to check on him.

Now they also carry torches attached to propane tanks to unfreeze the fans on the guns. So the guy who goes up to help him just kind of sets it off to the side of the run, and takes him down on a snowmobile. When he comes back, the propane torch is set in the middle of the run, with the hose coiled up neatly around it. No one could have been up there to move it, as they were all down attending to Joe. I've personally talked to the guy who went up to help him and have every reason in the world to believe this story.

Story 3, my personal favorite:

We used to have a ball pit in our lodge for the kids of parents who wanted to drop their kids off and go off skiing without having to worry about them. Now, for some reason the extra balls for that ball pit were kept in this old stone house out on the lane coming into the area that was built sometime in the 1800s. One night the maintenence guys got bored and decided to go out and find the balls.

This house is pretty sketchy. The cellar is pretty short, and has a dirt floor, and is one of the scariest places I've seen. So they're out there messing around, and they all go down in the basement. As they're all down there, one of the balls from the pit comes rolling down the stairs, completely unexplained. They all got the hell out of there.


Our lodge in general is a pretty sketchy place. The lights go on and off without warning. I've worked all nighters resetting the park and if you look down at the lodge the lights will just randomly go on and off. Sometimes the toilets and sinks in the main mens bathroom will go off down the line.

There is also this road pretty close to the area that has some pretty messed up stuff on it. A circus train crashed back in the 50s or something and is still back there, countless cars and trucks. There is also the Double and Triple K ranch, which was and supposedly still is a base for the KKK. I'm not as familiar with those stories, though my former boss is and I've always meant to get them out of him.

there is this old 24 hour fitness building and if you go inside there is broken glass everywhere and crazy shit. the second story has little rooms and i saw a bunch of newspapers and stuff where a bum lives. this room is really hard to get to and find too. its just kinda cool thinkin about it and what if he was there when we walked in haha

Last spring break i went on a school trip to Germany and we went to Dachau too. I took basically the exact same pictures. Just being there was so sureal. The day we were there it was rainy and cloudy and really cold, and everyone was so quiet and speachless the whole time we were there. It was an odd feeling standing in the gas chambers knowing what went on there. Definatley something i will never forget.

i really really really hope youre making this up and what im about to tell you is made up. but i watched a show on history or discovery or some show like that. and a kid went into a grave with like these metal poles or something and for some reason he started getting the scratches like you and weird stuff happened around him daily. and then he went to a special type of priest and had to get an exorcism. sounds pretty scary but it wasnt like the movie scary. it was just crazy and wierd.

so basically what im saying is, you may have a bad soul or a devil soul or whatever they said on tv in you and you need an exorcism from a special type of priest or something. idk dont go by my word though. sorry if i scared you. but you did sure scare the shit out of me. haha i really hope you made that up
