Will a lens for a canon hg20 fit my hg10?

will it fit? sorry, i dont know alot about video camera lenses, and i need a wide angle/fisheye. found 1 for about 50 on B&H but its under the hg20

check the thread size of your camera and the lens you are looking at.. you may need to find a step up/down ring

ok well i just checked canon's wesite. the hg10 has a 43mm filter mount and the hg20 has a 37mm filter mount. so if you buy that lens your going to need to buy a 37mm-43mm step-up ring as well. hope this helps.
