So I'm going to rant right now about how much I hate bailers. My fucking roommates for next year just pulled out of our apartment because I went on vacation and didn't contact them. What the fucking fuck? Can someone explain to me why that's a legit reason? Now I have to get out of the lease and I lost $2000 for an effing security deposit. Fuckin bopppaaas.

seriously though that is a weak reason to bail on you. try and talk it over cause its gonna suck to take over the lease by yourself

yeah its a tough call. our semester ends in a little over a month.

it'll be tough to find someone and plus i'm so effing pissed right now i dont even want a roommate.

didn't your old roommates sign the lease, too? I always make my roommates sign the paperwork that way I know they're less likely to bail...and if they do, they have to pay for it.

So just stay there for 2 months and find a new place?  You wont lose the deposit, and youll have time to find another roommate.  Yeah that much rent will suck, but atleast youll get something for that 2000, instead of just losing it altogether.

nope. i was taking it to them today to get it signed and then hand it over to the lady. just my luck...oh welll i had a fucking epic trip back to vail so idk how i feel about it. their fault not mine

we were on spring break this past week. i emailed the one girl telling her that i got the lease signed and that i would be bringing it to them tomorrow(today) to get them to sign it and then i'd turn it in. she sent me some bitchy email about how that i didn't communicate with them over spring break and i ignored their calls (didn't call me once). sorry i was on fucking vacation and i couldn't pay attention to you and fulfill your needs.

I kinda feel your pain, I had so many problems getting a house together this year and I'm still not 100% sure what the fu*k is going on in the end, I need to figure it all out soon. We went from 8 people down to 2 back to 12 then to 8 again and finally settled at 5 and got a house. So many people would back out or resigned their leases without telling me or the group. I hated so many people for little reasons like that, but you just gotta move on.

see if your university has a roommate classified thing though, that's how my old roommate subleased his room I think and the girl that moved in is a totally good fit for our house and deals with all our shenanigans, she's so much more awesome than my old roommate.

yeah thats something i considered but like i thought about it and i think i may just go for a single apartment and stay by myself. i'm sick of people and helll if the right person comes along that wants to forsure get a place then thats word.

Live with dudes then.  Most of the girls that I know that moved in with all of their "best" friends from highschool basically tried killing eachother.  Then they moved in with some guys and everything worked out wonderfully.

I wish I was going to colorado. i got into CUBoulder and CSU but my dad said no. i moved to the east coast in 8th grade from colorado. but i go to pitt. jeaaaa.

Sounds like you're better off without them hos anyway. Thats bullshit bailing out like that. The only bad thing about living on your own is that you have to do all the cooking / cleaning yourself. On the upside you don't have to cook for others, and you don't have to clean others mess
