Do u beleive in evolution?

Kind of a poorly worded question, or one meant to trick. But not believing in evolution is being blind to the world. I mean, things evolve, adapt, survival of the fittest is not just darwinian rambling, it definitely happens. I mean, it's just science there, evolution is a fact. Whether or not we evolved from monkey, or at some point evolved from single celled organisms is the actual question behind this. Personally, yes we have a strong biological relation to primates, and we are likely a type of primate, but that doesn't mean that we all evolved from the same primate and started walking on two feet necessarily. I haven't seen any pure evidence of that finding, but I haven't looked very hard. I do believe that god created the universe, if you take a look at the likelihood that somehow something happened and all of sudden it went boom and it formed what just happened to be a perfect planet with a protective layer. well that just doesn't make any sense, something can't come from nothing, thats been proved a billion times and the odds there are trillions upon trillions to one. So where did everything come from? I believe what the Bible says that God created the Heavens and the earth. But where it says "in 6 days" people take days to be what we have quantified as 24 hours. But God operates independent from time, so one "Day" could have been centuries, or millenia.

one day could mean 6 seconds! think, the world could have been created in 42seconds!!!!

To me when it says "days" he, God, was getting at the whole, we should rest on the Sabbath. Is that what God was getting at? No one on this Earth will ever know for sure. I know scientist don't know everything, but the Earth only being roughly 3,000 years old according to the Bible could be far fetched. Like looking at rocks and mountain ranges they have to be older than a few thousand years. Unless that was the way God made it, he could have implimented all of the "aging" of Earth in his initial creation. He could have even created the dinosaurs already dead just to see who was truely faithful in trusting his word. Thats kind of what I think, but just for the record I haven't actually read Genisis in quite a while...


Come to think of it my answer is some what rhetorical.....

i belive in evolution i think it would be ignorent not to,
but i belive god had his hand in every part of evolution, he created every part of this world however he used evolution to do so.

I've thought that for years

God created us in the likness of him so if you believe that we started off as monkeys then do you think God is a monkey? I dont. I believe that natural selection and all of that stuff happens but I think that is Gods plan

i just wonder why you bother looking at this forum and commenting like you do,
you will not change my beliefs with one sentance.
if you dont like my faith then dont look at it, dont waste your time with us im sure you  have more important stuff to worry about.

i may not.

the big bang on the other hand is one of the ill-logical things ive heard

the way i look at is a little analogy


theres a room.

nothing in it

it explodes.

then theres a basketball in the room


or theres this way.....


a room

nothing in it

someone walks in

places a basketball on the ground.





believe in what you want but if you look at the logical thing its obvious

ya i look at it like derik... none of sciences theories make any sense at all. They say everything came from a dust particle or a small rock... ok.. where did that rock come from?!? just doesnt make sense to me
