That is a the farthest thing from the truth you have said yet, Kobe is a player who makes the NBA look like a selfish league that is all about scoring and nothing else, he plays like he has no teammates.

Also MJ was double teamed just the same as Kobe if not more, Michael just found a way to break free from the defenders and get the shot. (which kobe doesnt do)

mj dominated the nba finals without the help of a dominant big man.  this is the single greatest point because nba championships are won in the paint.  no question look at the last 20 years.  shaq, duncan, robinson, olajuwon.  no team with the exception of maybe the 03-04 pistons and all of mj's team won with out a dominant big man.  and the pistons had rasheed/ben wallace when they didn't suck.  luc longley, bill wennington?  really?

mj took over important games in ways that kobe never has.  shaq was the reason for the laker titles.  that guy was absolutely unstoppable back then.

Michael Jordan will always be looked at as an incredible and revolutionary athlete, basketball skills aside either way Kobe will never touch Jordan in pure sportsmanship, Jordan basically embodied everything a real athlete should be.

kobe HAD A LOSING SEASON in the middle of his career.  jordan never did

the lakers NEEDED TO BUY AN ALLSTAR in order to make the playoffs.  jordan created one of the 50 greatest players of all time out of an athletic swingman. 

pau was a dominant force when we went to LA.  kobe has little to do with the growth of bynum.  fischer has been a force at point without kobe.  luke waltons potential has been squashed by playing with kobe.  turn it around, look what happened to toni kukoc, scottie pipen, ron harper w/o jordan...

kobe takes the last shot.  no matter what. double teamed, off balanced, falling, missing.  jordan passed to kerr. bulls won a title.  jordan passed to paxson.  bulls won a title. 

kobe scores points via the 3 point shot, requiring fewer baskets to get his points (which are less)  jordan didnt have a 3 most of his career, so he required more baskets to get his points, making it harder for him to get those points.

experiment:
lets take season stats from both from every year, and put together a dream season for each, the best stats in every catagory, this should show who is a more complete player...

higher points, higher assists, higher rebounds, higher steals, higher blocks, lower turnovers

notice, jordan's FG% in his worst season for it was about the same as Bryant's in his best. 

couldnt find info i was looking for to show that the FG%, scoring and defense is all down from 15 years ago, which would show that the NBA was MORE COMPETITIVE back then, instead ill just list some players jordan matched up against and bested.  kobe has problems besting bruce bowen, teyshaun prince, paul pierce, andre kirelinko, and manu ginobli.  none of those players even come close (pierce comes close actually) to any of these players that jordan made look STUPID:
