Elan skis

i have a friend whos just getting into freestyle and he can get a pair of elans for 50% off...is it worth it? he wants to know if thats a good deal or if there are better, cheaper, skis out there for beginners (around $200-$300)

sweet, thanks, does anyone else have any more info on elan twins? Can he rely on them for more than a year or would they just start to fall apart?

I have elan pogo sticks 165 and I hate them they aren't really that good of skis unfortunately I would go with a different ski if i was you
