Skis for my buddy

Hey guys,

Finally convinced my buddy to get a pair of twins. Hes just starting out in the park but is a relatively good skier. He's about 5'11" and around 180lbs. So im thinking prob around 170-174cm skis, right? He's looking for twins that will be really solid in the park/pipe, but also able to tear up all mountain. Also, they have to be durable as hell, cuz hes known for trying dumb shit. So around 60% park/40% all mountain.

I was thinking K2 Extremes and possibly, if money isnt an issue, Volkl Bridges.

179 extremes wouldnt be bad. and volkl makes a VERY solid ski so volkl walls or bridges wouldnt be bad either, definitely a better choice for the durability.

i'm personally a very big fan of armada ar6s... but i really like walls as well. i bet bridges are pretty similar

i have the ar6's. 172, and absoulty love them. great in the park, and good mountain skis. and is probly one of the most durable skis out there in my opionion

Yeah I have the Volkl Bridges and they are mean! Probably the most versatile ski out in the entire world. Short turns and tree skiing is a piece of cake. Rails and park, its at home. Halfpipe, great because they are pretty stiff without haveing a piece of metal. Lightweight and durable as all hell.

Great choice.
