Dumont also gave up his prize money i'm quite sure. he was giving shout outs to him throuhgout the games by pionting to his helmet where there was a sticker and stuff.

thats what i was wondering....i would assume with a good health insurance you would get benfits and shit and would be covered and everything... but i can still imagine that his lifestyle will change dramatically and some where down the line it will help....but as stated is it pity money? not trying to hate or ne thing just curios?

I believe there are certain things simply not covered by the insurance, ie transport costs... This stuff piles up REALLY fast.

This is no pity money...are you kidding? Somebody in Riley's situation needs all the support and financial help they can get. This is also why STANDSTRONGAGAIN.ORG exists. Just his air taxi (Albany-Denver) alone will cost $30K. Not to mention plenty of hurdles down the road.
TJ is the man for doing what he can, and helping a friend at that. As Duncan said there was no better person to win X slope, in all ways.

i never meant for that to come of like that i just wasn't aware of the finical means involved (regarding insurance ect...), seeing as I have never known any one in a situation like that...
