Atomic Thugs

I'll let you know what I think when I get mine mounted next week bro...I'm super super stoked...has anyone thrown down in the park on them?

I rode 192s as my everyday ski last year. They are fun, but a little too soft for me. I also wanted something a little thinner for everyday.

If you are in the market for a fatty jib ski, that can also ski the rest of the mountain, they kick ass. I'm not much of a jibber, so I went for a stiffer more directional ski. I also had ARGs last year (and another different super fatty this year) so they were never really my POW ski.

That being said, they a good in the pow, and great in the trees. Next years bent'chetler appear to very very similar, with a bit of rocker. Sounds like they'd kick ass.

Also, lots of reviews on TGR. Some guys absolutely LOVE them. I liked them, but wanted something a little more charging/big mountain oriented.

i ride teh 181 as my fat jib ski/pow ski and its fucking sick. im a smaller guy so i love the soft nose and slightly stiffer tail.
super maneuverable for how big they are and definitely a sick surfy feeling.

So after a complete nightmare mounting problem (thanks Tommy and Lebfave Ottawa's gayest and ONLY ski shop) I got the Thugs out last night...there was about 10cm fresh and let me tell you these things are dirty!!!!

I was scared cause they are 192 and I left a 178 Invader and 172 Mo'ship for these but by golly, I was doing 270's on, blindside switchups, 270's out both ways you name it on rails, and jumping on these are just silly...I was doing switch 1's, 3's and 5's on the 50ft table like I was sleeping.

These are the dopest skis I have ever ridden.  Everyone who thinks about them, should just man up and buy them.  Fucking sick!!!!

But yeah the topsheet chips pretty easy that is true...but still, sickest skis ever!
