trick daddy - money and drugs
I would argue that human beings are growin less and less natural because as technology gets better we have less and less natural selection.
for example, were we living in a hunter gatherer, or even a primitive agricultural society, a child born with poor eyesight has little to no survival value and will die, in our society the child will be given glasses and the playing field is level
if an ant cannot build an ant hill it will die because it will not have shelter. Whereas parking garages are the opposite, they indirectly promote the concept taht it is not necessary to be healthy to be successful and ultimately procreate, thus passing on the genes of blind, crippled, and fat people and reducing natural selection
so whether it is natural depends alot upon how you define natural to yourself, but i would say that it certainly isn't natural in the same sense that an ant hill is
oh, and a side note that i wanted to add: when talking about how influential a species is both positive and negative ecological influence have to be taken into account so i would argue that the most influential species in the world is green algae because it produces more than half of the worlds oxygen.
if humans are taken out of the world life continues for probably 95% of organisms, but if you take algae out of the world (my hypothesis is that) almost everything would die and evolution would be moved back to archaebacteria
im sorry to hear that. same thing happend to me last year working as a lift operator. i built the pyramids, the tower of babel, and the transamerica building and coincidentaly, I was fired. but I ask you this redundant question, what if I smashed ur sandcastle that you made for your girlfriend?
either way, redundant or not, destruction sucks
what happens if there is no creation after the destruction?
well because of heterozygous advantage the gene for bad eyesight (or anything) won't die out. and it was just an example of how modern science and societyhas caused our species not to have natural selection
a really bizarre and random case would be that if someone who had a family history of cancer, diabetes, and heart disease, was extremely obese, and very uninteligent won the lottery, they could get a young healthy in shape person in bed and reproduce, therefore not making it survival of the fittest
there are lots of examples of stuff like this and if you want more i can give you some
you'll never figure anything out. youre brain is a very limited source of knowledge and you could never begin to grasp the complexity of universal structure. no human being could.
it is just a waste of time to confuse yourself. just live life, have fun, and dont worry about it.
