Where can i find salomon wide brakes?

got s912's as a christmas gift but the wings won't fit my wide skis and NO shops have wide brakes. they all say they are on order but have no clue when they might arrive. anyone know where i can find some?

and don't just tell me to bend the brakes either

msp 180's.....i met someone who bent the brakes for his pe's and they don't stay together AT ALL. i hike and ride the bus a lot and when my skis fall apart it pisses me off really bad

Just keep hassling your shops, and ski without brakes for now. You can always rig up some ghetto leashes.

I just went to the Bob Ward's (you could probably go to anywhere) and ask the ski shop guys to get you wide brakes- they are like $35 or something

^dude....i said in my 1st post that no shop i've checked at has them.....one shop had wide brakes for older salomons and another had the binding/brake combo but he said he couldn't just sell me the brakes by themself. also, i'm not going to mount them myself and i don't think a shop will mount bindings w/o brakes

yah man, $40 is retarded for wide brakes, I'v had to pay it twice, I'v got a pair in my room colecting dust that were used for like 10 days.

i think i paid like $15 for wide look brakes. my shop ordered them for me from the factory in like china or something. it worked but it took a couple weeks.

i got salamon 1080 skis and they are wide so i jsut bent the bindings and they stay together fine just get them to a close width on both.

i had that same problem, i called up some shops around me and got mine, they were 40 bucks. or call salomon and ask them which stores they sold some too. and dont bend the brakes, it will void the warranty of the bindings

The morons who mounted my skis didnt bend the brakes enough and the spots where they have touched the edges have been shaved off. It pisses me off.
