Spinning on big jumps

is it easier to do it on like massive jumps? like it seems it kind of would cuz you have more time to spot ur landing but it'll lick if u fell.

not for me, idk y but its easier when i spin fast then when i drag it out on a big table. i cant get 5's on the big table we have here but i did it on r smaller table in like 2 trys its just weird

on hudge jumps its all about the balance and you need basically no windup

On bigger jumps you slow the rotation down. It's hard to ballsy up at first, but once you get the hang out of it, you really just have to float the 3s or something. No wind-up, its more just one smooth rotation. Its easier when its big, but once it gets HUGE its harder to maintain your good balance in the air. I would take a 40 foot table over a 20 foot table for a 3 any day.

To prevent over rotating, spot your landing when your turning back around and if you think you are over doing it, then spread your feet back out, 'untuck' if you will. You gotta slow the rotation down.

no way, small jumps are better for learnig. But if u go huge, u cant huck it that hard, or u will over rotate. But the theroy about spotting the landing isnt true for me at least. when i get done spinning, i am ususally disorinted, so i just brace myslef and usualy land it

Bigger is for sure better. So much more time, so much easier to just lock yourself up for the no flail spin. Just turn your shoulders and let the kick of the jump spin you. Easier to cork that way too.

Bigger is allways better, bigger jumps and more air = more time to do the trick and spot the landing.

Dude you wouldnt be disoriented if you were looking over your shoulder at 180 to look for the landing instead of just spinning and letting your eyes follow wherever your body is going.

yeah, if your disoriented after a spin, you really shouldnt be doing it. thats just dumb. youre going to get hurt bad one of these days

^ no. if your disoriented you keep practicing so your not? i'd figure that'd be the smartest thing to do.
At first i was kinda disoriented on my 3s cuz i feared i wouldnt rotate around to spot the landing, but I just let it flow now and its golden.
I also found the bigger tables allow for a better rotation so that you can spot your landing better..or something, idono.

i love big tables, i am deprived in central PA. Last year i went to mt. snow, and those two tables at teh bottom were amazing. It felt so good to spin a slow 7.

this is kinda off topic but still replys to spinning. what is the best way to spin in a pipe. like if it dont get around is it easy to ride away switch?? i ride a pipe only like 3 or 4 times a year

i honestly think it's much easier to spin on big jumps, and it's also so much better looking obviously...
my first 3 was clearing a 40 foot table, im not bragging, im just saying that's how i learned it, and it helps.
you don;t even need to wind up or throw it at all, i pop and slowly spin, grab, and finish it effortlessly without moving a muscle
if you're finding it hard to spin on larger tables compared to smaller ones, just stay balanced with a low center of gravity as you take off and slowly set the spin, i guarantee you'll land fine
and stay calm

with bigger jumps, all you have to do, is get comfy spinning 3's, and know how hard you have to set and all that good shit, and once you can do that, then youll know exactly how much more you have to set for 7s and 9s and whatever, and any other shit yur gonna do... it looks way better when u go very very large, and steez it out
