k i just my bought my pe's and noticed that some guys talk about old pe's and new ones... Do the old ones suck? cuz it sounds like there all breaking... Did they only update the construction and keep the graphics the same? or are they talking about the old enemies?

ya i havent heard too much about PE's but ive heard that the foam core in the 1080's wears out after like 1/2season. true / false

I got public enemys and theyre sick. The only things is a little bit of the graphics are coming off but only cause i grind on them all day, usual wear and tear. If you get skis get the old public enemys or the fujatives, the new public enemys look gay.

yeah the new 1080's core will wear out just like many foam cores out there. i guess it really matters how hard you ride them.

i've got an old pair of the blue 1080's and there still decent so i guess it's salomon's way of saving money!

The difference between new PEs and old PEs is just graphics. That's it. The actual ski itself is unchanged, they just put some bling-bling on the new model. I personally like the original PE graphics better.
