Soap Shoes

I bought soap shoes and its just like grinding on skis only a little bit slower , just thought i'd tell anyone that its a cool way to practice rails when you can't get on the slopes they're pretty cool

Oh man, soaps are so fun. Everyone says they are gay but they will shut their face when they see some pro soaper float off a 40 stair double kink rail. Fun is gaurenteed with the purchase of these.

yeah they are. i bought a pair brand new from my friend for 30 dollars. he sucked at it and sold um to me. its to hard to go up stuff (like rainbow rails) though

i hate soaps. they're just gay looking shoes that are really heavy because they have a grinding plate on the bottom. No they dont help you grind on skis.

im a fruit booter, and i have soap shoes.
they actually made grinding on skis more comfortable for me. just getting used to sliding across a jib.
theyre pretty fun. not that expensive.
www.outaline.com has them for pretty cheap ($60CDN i think)

i have some soaps i think they are too small now though i got them right when they came out, they were fun for awhile, they might help u with the sliding aspect of rails but not the balancing part so much, i mean they are just shoes not long planks

the reason people think inlines are gay is cuz it´s easy and looks like figure-skating but soap shoes are so dumb they´re cool. i think im gonna try em.

Seriously, soaps are the worst thing ever introduced to the alternative sport world. Yes, it takes talent to go down a 40 stair rail, but seriously, all your doing it walking around and jumping off sh*t. It doesn't look smooth at all and you can't do any big gaps or anything because YOU'RE RUNNING.

i did this phat hand rail with my friends soap inside my school...it was hella ill...it was like this massive 20 set....it was hella-ill...but i wouldnt buy a pair of soaps..

some think that soaps are gay because all you are doing is walking, To me that is the coolest part, you dont have to lug around your skateboard or you skates, you can just be walking, see a rail and stick it.

a while back we had some freezing rain that coated everything and me and some friends could slide rails and benchs and shit just in normal shoes which was pretty fun. it is DEFINITELY not a sport but theres nothin wrong with doin it for fun.

p.s. does anyone know where to pick up a pair of soaps in the Toronto area?

The thing about soaps is that its the easiest thing ever and it looks stupid. It's mildly fun, but rollerblading and even skateboarding is just way better.

Also, its really way different from grinding on skis because you actually have a groove and if you don't land on the plastic, you don't move.

ya i have been a skateboarder since i was like 5, when soaps came out, i thought they were more queer than a 2 dollar bill. One day me and a friend were walking downtown and saw a kid freestyle walking or whatever, i started to laugh, then the kid hooked on a 15 stair rail and at the end of the rail, he threw a backflip off and landed on the concrete, then he just walked away. I still think it's gay and not a sport, but, that was impressive and if you're bored im sure they could be fun.
