last year i got the smith regulators at the end of the season sunday i went to baker after about an hour they fogged so bad i had to clean them after every jump when i got home i popped the lenses out to dry them and my friggen dogs chewed the frames to shit, now long story short i killed my dogs and i now need some goggles...for next time i want some tryed and true methods for antifog (cat crap or whatever)and/or the best antifog goggles youve experienced

i have had zero fogging problems with my fuse regulators, it might be the way you maintain them. in fact, that is the way it is with most people and their fogging problems.

ok if your having fogging probs you probably never take em out to air out. before you go skiing the night before leave ur goggles out to air out and you should have no problemo.

here's the deal: Antifog coatings get soft and slightly sticky while they keep your lens fog free, and they do get a little wet. If you don't carefully dab the inside of your lens clean, or your goggles get full of snow and ice and you just ram it out, you'll easily scratch your coating(seems like you scratched your lens) and maybe even remove the coating. Then you're fucked.

plus you can... i ussually do... get moisture between the lenses... assuming you have a double lense which is common. there doesnt seem to be much to do about it but try and look around it and ski really fast.

well, I always have major fogging issues with goggles, and so now mainly ski with either glasses or a pair of briko's that are a cross between glasses and goggles. My problem was what people called a ''hot head'', and that would cause the goggles to fog (and yes all proper maintenance was follwed). I had never found anything that worked as far as anti-fogs go, but the Smith Turbo's (the ones with the fan) worked great. The only time I had a problem with them was in a really heavy snowfall, the snow clogged the flow of air.

They are the only goggles I've ever used that flowed enough air in and through the goggles to prevent fogging up.

dogs seem to be attracted to the regulators. same thing happened to me.
