Help my gum hurts and i have no fucking idea why!!!

I just looked at it in the mirror and the whole bottom left area of my gum is red and there's like a 2mm by 1mm hole just above where the gum covering the jaw bone/teeth ends and turns into cheek. Not really a "hole" but looks like somebody took a small spoon or something and scratched it out a bit. It fucking hurts, it wasn't there a few days ago and I'm getting a bit worried.

At first I thought it was just irritation but it has gotten progressively worse over the past few days and I'm starting to get a bit anxious?

Any ideas and has anyone had this before?

when my brother had braces he didnt ever brush his teeth so they got infected and i remember watching as my mom stuck a needle tip in my brothers gum and the skin bursted and blood drained out.

same thing has kinda been happening with me.
ive just been rinsing with mouthwash quite a bit and it seems to have helped it
its getting a lot better now

dude you have a receding gum. basically your not brushing well enough. i had it on the exact same tooth as you it sounds. You just have to brush better in that area and it will stop hurting and stop going back. if you don't start brushing that area well you could lose that tooth. part of the other reason i had that is because i have a wire behind me teeth (braces) and it pulls at your teeth pretty good. but just brush better thats all you gotta do.

sounds exactly like a canker sore. i get them all the time, it fucking sucks, does it hurt when you move your lip and get food in it and shit and then feel better when there's nothing touching the area?
my suggestions for ditching them in a day or 2 is rinsing your mouth with hot salt water after you eat (sounds painful but it's not for some reason) and using this shit called Kanka that like numbs the area
is the hole type thing white?

that doesnt sound like a canker. a canker looks like a pimple. on your gum and im sure he's had canker's before.

relax. that happened to me twice before. i freaked out the first time and brushed my teeth like 100000 times for the nest 2 days and mouth washed frequent. thing peaced out on me. dont worry your fine.

its prolly because you dont floss!!!
gingivitis!!!! go to the dentist, and dont brush your teeth more than twice a day because it ruins your enamel and can cause even more damage, get sme mouth wash and make like 1/2 mouthwash and half water  mix and rinse it out, or if you are poor use salt water. its probably just an infection

or your have aids.

that sucks holy crap but i would definitely go see a dentist cause im pretty sure that stuffs not suppose to happen and if there was anytime to see the dentist, this would be one of those times for sure. let us know what it was!

OMG I GOTZ DA AIDS!!11ONE

so, the whole like thing is white, and it's starting to look like either an ulcer or a canker sore.
I'll brush the area real good for a few days and I'll try some of that warm salt water
and if its still being a bitch and sticking around I'll go to the dentist/doctor and get them to do the figuring out.
