so after trashing my airstyle nt's already and receiving a rather large random refund check from CSU the other day i decided it's time for a new pair of loads. since the nt's are now my rail/rock skis (it's probably better that way) i'm wondering what to get for my next 'everything' ski, as thats what the nt's were supposed to be until two straight weeks of sliding rails. my choices:
A) a pair of stiffer fat pow twins (MSPs, ARV, DB Surreals, Moships)
B) a softer, more park specific ski (TM, FUJ,)
I know it's dumb to come on here asking everyone what i should get, but maybe someone's had this same problem. I ski, in this order:
-trees/pow/steeps
-park
-bc booters
i guess my dilemma will depend on the weather.....if i go with a fat and we have a shitty snow year, i'll be pissed, just like if it dumps all season and i'm on a pair of skinnies (i weigh 200 lbs) but never in the park. i'm kinda leaning toward option A, but i still want a ski that will perform on hits/pipe since my nt's have ass for pop and i know i'll be riding more park this year than ever before, especially if the snow isn't very good. plus i still want to be able to rip the occasional groomer with the dad before he gets too old to keep up, so no flaccid salomons for me. i'm going to try to demo as many of these skis as possible, but i don't know how long i can hold out on my nt's with their newly fucked up edges
any suggestions will help and feel free to flame me for making a pseudo-vs. thread
