besides a pro ski accident like at a comp give us ur story, i know this has been done before:
for me i saw some girl like 8 flying down a blue run goin like 40 and she was afraid to stop, so the lift line at the bottom had a metal ladder for some dumb reason to stop kids from cutting, yea u know where this is goin, she flies into the medal ladder at like 40 mph smacks her head blood everywhere it was horrible

saw this kid hit the biggest jump at bousquet but he messed up, he was just straight airing and when he was in the air he was a kicking and stuff so when he landed his legs were wide open and he hit head first and did the splits, was pretty freaky thought he killed himself

a kid in a lesson was way behind and came flying off a connecting trail at like mach 10 with absolutley no control. the kid clips a snowboarder, the snowboarder was going pretty slow and working some short turns coming down the steeper slope. the snowboarder didn't even fall over but the kid exploded into a flailing mess, all his stuff went flying. he hit so hard his gloves came off. i was standing there waiting for my milf friend and the kid almost took me out right before he hit.

he snapped his tibia or fibia(which ever is the upper leg bone) because his leg went between the snowboarder's legs and it was the main point of impact.

i bet the instructor got in some deep shit for that.

yea i saw one like the first one... little girl outta control, only mine was one of my friends who at the time was 15, and before hitting a pipe, took out 2 little kids and then an old women into the pipe... worst ive ever seen -really icy day, kids first hit on a huge roll over, went way to big and cleared the landing, landed on flat ice, it looked like is legs just cumbled beneath him. hit is head pretty hard and got knocked out. me and a friend were the only ones there so i stayed with the kid as my friend got ski partol. i never saw him wake up but i hear he did in the helicopter.

I saw a guy die years ago, slid head first into a tree...didnt look that bad but he broke his neck and died. The nastiest looking one was my friend who shattered both wrists and forearms in the mogul when he double ejected. Funniest, some dude snowboarding hit my friend...apologized and said it was his first day. I called him a retard to be on a black diamond his first day on a board. He then wanted to fight me, then thought better of it realizing it was him and then like a dozen of us. He had taken his snowboard off to walk up the hill towards us so my buddy he hit shoved it down the hill and we all took off laughing as his board went flying down the hill and into the woods.

i saw a girl snow skating at windells and she tripped on the jump to the box and theres a gap to it and she fell forward hit her ribs on it bit her tounge off and puncture a lung and i think broke some ribs, she was going so fast and then just hit the edge of the box. then i saw a person try a backflip off a rainbow rail onto there back

Last year I saw this kid laying by this box, I guess he hit his head on it super hard. Their were like 12 ski patrol around him like giving him air and stuff. That kinda freaked me out, im getting a helmet this year.

i saw this one guy bombing down mogals who obviously sucked at skiing and went fucking flying. we went at least 15 ft before hitting the ground because he toko off on a mogul. he landed on another one and was just out cold

At Eldora i've seen two. First a kid just points it down the run right next to the poma, so not a very big run, but he was going pretty fast for someone who couldn't ski. well, he couldn't stop or slow down at all so he goes right through the nylon fence along the parking lot and just fucking beefs it huge. He slide about 50 feet into a car and tore his lip almost off of his face.
The second one was one day, around closing, we were hiking the pipe and there is a jump, about a 15 footer, and a kid from Kansas hits it really fast and clears the landing and lands on the back of his neck. His eyes were bleeding and he was seisuring. He had to be airlifted out. It was pretty bad.
Third one is at Copper. Didn't see it happen, but the huge cliff in Copper Bowl just to the right of the lift that is undroppable, i think it is about 60 feet. A boarder fell above 30 feet above it and tumbled off of it and i guess clipped it on the way down. He wasn't moving at all when we saw him. It ruined a really good day. It was easily one of the worst things i've ever seen.

worst crash I've seen was last season, this guy had too much speed going on the 40 foot table and he cleared the landing and fell on his head. The guy had a concussion and he had spasms and convulsions, it was not really pretty to see.

i have two. the first was like somebodys that was above. anyways, some guy hit a kicker at my mountain (Cranmore) and he fell. he started seizuring and it was scary as hell. The second, i didnt see but my friends did was this guy at some ski resort that over shot this hip by about 40 ft and landed flat. his shins went into the upper part of his legs. kinda scary i guess.

i skied down a run at snowmass right after some old guy had a heart attack and fell off the chairlift.....there were like 40 medical people around him and they completely closed the run down......pretty sure he didn't make it

my friend over rotated a rodeo 9 last year and started seizuring.
i wasnt there but my friend bit completley through his lip.
Over shooting a jump and coming out of the spin to find i am still 30 feet above the landing.
first prize- guy at snowmass frontflipped the biggest table, overshot and over rotated by a lot (guess he had horrible judgement) anyway bit through his tounge, concussion, blood everywhere... had to be taken away in a bloody mess.

o and i wasnt there, but at highlands on a day i was in school, a guy straightlined in between 2 trees and was going 50, hit some rocks/dirt and double ejected flew 60 feet lawndart steeze and broke his neck in 7 places died instantly..

when the mountain manager fell off the sunnyside lift at maryjane. he had a very bad seizure so he fell off. the lift did not have any bars so he just fell i saw the ski patrol bomb down there was a guy on the sled with him trying to get his heart started then a chopper landed and 2 minutes later they turned the engine off and thats when i knew he was dead that was a pretty weird and sad day

i was up at spirit mtn a few seasons ago and this dumbass snowboarder was sittin there chilling with another guy on the bottom of a roll just outta sight. this skiier was bombing this black hill, gets some air and sees the boarder. there was no hope, and the ski tip caught him in the back. it musta hurt like a sumbitch cause he was screaming the rest of the time up the lift. never heard someone shout so loud, especially 50 feet away

I saw a guy die once it was terrible and I won't get into it.

Last year I was with my boyfriend who was snowboarding and he nutted a rainbow and was puking for 20 minutes straight and then passed out. It was terrible although a guy from Forum happened to be there filming and he almost got into a film for it.

My worst crashes... hmmm Well I shattered my knee when I was ten skiing off bounds and smashed onto a rock. Last I was skiing in some woods with friend and I decided to try a backflip off of this ledge like 15 ft and as I was turing midair I spotted guy coming down headed right for where I would have landed and sketched out and landed right on my back and was knocked out. It was more scary than painful.

coup' years ago, before we lost our pipe, this kid, comes haulin ass into the wall, backseat, legs wide apart, ski pass on lanyard flappin in the wind. boosts out like 4 feet by accident, half a flip, lands on back, on edge of wall. slides down, we all jump into the pipe, hes like im fine, screamin and shit.

turns out he was a racer kid, but has a disability, has these messed up teeth, serious underbite, and looks all squirly. well race team didnt want him, so they dumped him onto freestyle, we call him ralph, like the simpsons, his names eric tho. hes a huge fuckup, and sucks terribly on alpine skis, but then i saw him on teles, and hes fuckin awesome, bustin 5s and shit, what the hell.

At my ski resort i was riding up the lift when all of the sudden this kid started screaming saying 'STOP THE LIFT' 'STOP THE LIFT'! I turned around and i saw this kid hanging on to his friendwho had slipped off the lift they were screaming for about 2 minutes and then i guess his friend couldnt hang on any longer and then i saw the kid slip out of his friends hands and just falling and falling until he hit the ice about 50 feet or so bellow. The kid must have been out instantly cuz he wasnt moving and by the time i got to the top and skied down to him he was surrounded by ski patrol. I dont know what happened to him i think my ski coach said he was parallized. That was the saddest day of skiing in my life.
Lesson to be learned, is to not screw around on the ski lifts. But somtimes you cant help it especially people who have heart attacks or seziers. It's really unfortunate for these things to happen, especially around such a great sport. I guess that is life and we have to move on but remmember and be aware 'but' not afraid. Fear nothing but know your limits.

At Greek Peak theres this trail that we always go down .. its like customary.. and well one time after we had just skiied it the day before we found out an instructor hit a tree and died on that trail and we were standing in the exact spot that he ended up hitting the next day.. kinda freeky

um, most of mine are me... but i didnt see much but saw ski patrolers hiking while taking laps on chair 6 at crystal... right near where we were skiing... and they were going to dig out a burried guy i guess.. i got hurt later in the day... saw the guy in a body bag in the patrol room.... creepy. but um, crash section of propaganda was pretty insane. but i put a 4 inch gash in my eyebrow, bit through my lip and knocked out some teeth... spitting them out was interesting... and cleared one of the mammoth tables by a long way and KOed. oh and on TV, racing, like 4 years ago, jean luc cretie or whatever, they guy who won DH in Nagano i think it was... cruised over a knoll into a voulder field, end of career. shit... i havent seen anything cool.

At Mt. Rose, I was messing around on skiboards, took this huge table that blew me about 20 feet over the landing. The impact was so hard that when my boot flexed forward, it cracked in half. Got free ones courtesy of Lange, but my back will never be the same.

you overshot by 5 feet?... and broke your shin... that mustve been a short landing. ive overshot by like 8 ski lengths... that crazy little bastard mike wilson overshot that one hip or table or whatever it was buy like 300 miles... and bounced right back up the little bastard.

A kid trying a D-nine landed on his head and was bleeding out his ears. At our regional ski race some kid hit the lift tower during GS and both of his skis like exploded. It was crazy cuz i was on the lift right above him. The sound of him hitting it was undescribable.

Last year, some guy killed himself at our home mountain, Mt Joie, QC. There are 3 jumps in a rows, 60-45-35 ft. We usually take the second by starting off the 1st' landing. So this guy takes the first 60 footer, doesnt even speedcheck and launches off the 2nd. He got fucking high and ridiculously past the landing. The guy was broken all over and died on his way to the hospital... Makes you think twice. The police leveled the 3 jumps straight away for the rest of the year.

ive seen 2 pretty bloody incidents. this one time, like 2 years ago, i was at waterville, and we were all just fucking bombing down this cruiser. two of us stop to wait for the other one, who was behind us for some. we stopped right on this whaleback, and on the other side were all moguls. the kid comes hauling ass down the trail, lauches off the the whaleback and lands in the bumps, and then just fucking double ejects to faceplant. we ski down to him to find him bleeding from the eye brow, nose and mouth. he bled a lot, but nothing really serious.

then, this other time i was with the same 2 kids at this little hill in mass, and we were just fucking around. on one side of the trail, there were liek these giant ice balls and it was ungroomed, so we skid it. i made it through fine, but all of a sudden i heard a ' hoyl shit!' i looked back to catch the tail end of my friends fall. i hiked up to him thinking he was fine. he was laying on the ground and i was calling him a pussy and telling him to get up. he yurned over and was bleeding like there was no tomorrow from the mouth. i skid down top get ski patrol and the other kid stayed with him.what happened was that he like caught an edge or sumthing, and just flew head first. he ended up with a concussion, couldnt remember anytthing from that day, and he bit through his cheek...he had a whole the size of a penny iin his cheek. he got plastic surgery and it isnt very noticable now....it was extremely bloody

at blackcomb this british tourist woman lost a ski on the main run under solar coaster. The ski break didnt work so it went shooting down the mountain, and this guy turns around and lies down to try and stop it. Unfortunatley the ski hit a bump and launched into his face. He got a huge cut on his face and it was pretty nasty

This one guy was goin' switch off a jump without twin tips and at the lip his tails caught and he ejected from both skis and when this was happening he was also going way to fast and outjumped the landing.

these are some of the scariest stories ive ever heard... ive never seen any bad accidents, though. ive had a couple myself... overshot a table, landed on back, broke 2 ribs (medics thought it was my back), and then i ate it on a steep slope doing about 60... fractured tibia right below the knee. doesnt compare to everyone else's, though

The first time i ever went skiing was at killington opening day so they had like one trail open and everyone was on it, and i come flying down like a jackass fall, slide halfway down the trail into a lady, and kick her in the face with my edge and ripped her lip open. Oh god it was great

we were hitting the backyard rail and when i came down the ramp my buddy's dog ran right in front of me and i sliced his foot with my edge.....there were bloody paw prints everywhere.....but he was ok

Brian Class was at whiteface and he was doing switch backs and backflips off of everything except this gigantic step down...this thing launched you 30 ft in the air if you were just trying to make the landing, i mean this thing was huge. So at the end of the day class decides to throw a backflip off this monster and he hits the takeoff with too much speed and completes his backflip while he's still going up in the air...he over rotates and falls about 35ft to the flats and lands on his back...he was spitting up blood and it was nasty. I told him he should probably go get checked out because he might have internal injuries and he told me he was fine and he wanted to go to a party that night because he was going to fuck 2 girls...he ended up i think 2 weeks in the hospital with a lacerated splene...sickest shit ive ever seen and i think whiteface took that jump down after that
