Getting Videos On an Ipod

I have video files that are on my computer, they are wma? i believe, they play in windows media player. When i try to put them in itunes it does not work in the least bit. are there any patches tools or software that will allow me to put these vids on my ipod without a reformat, or that will atleast let me preserve the original format?

you need to convert them to mp4

this is a program that has worked real well for me in the past
