Line prophet 100 or 4FRN VCT

I want a ski i can take everwhere, something that will perform great im pow and pretty well all over the mountain. which is better the prophet 100`s or the VCT

Line Prophets are easier to drive and lighter, although their edge hold on ice isnt as good. The VCTs are a burlier ski (in the longer two lengths) that stomp considerably better. From my experience with both skis, I have found that the 4frnts seem to be of better quality and resistance to wear. Just depends what you're looking for though.

totally disagree
prophets grip like my sl skis on ice, they bust through all kinds of crud and hold up for stomps, and they're durable as hell, i had a pair of vct's that fell apart and were kinda flimsy and crappy but prophets that i skied hard as hell for a season and hit many rocks on and all i got were some minor topsheet scratches

well from what I have seen and felt when skiing both, they are both quite different. VCTs ski better in the park, are lighter, and ski switch better. Prophet 100s float great in pow, charge better, and stomp cliffs better

i have prophet 100's and they are a good ski. the only thing i have found wrong with them is that the tip has softened after riding them. i mean seriously softened. my friend picked up some moment ruby's at the same time as me last year (which generally had a very similar hand flex), we skied about 15 days on our skis, and his tips were the same, where as my prophets are flimzy as fuck. the tails are still pretty stiff, but the tips have deff softened. this is good for deeper snow, but obv not as good for going thru crud n shit. on the ice, eh, they're ok. i wouldnt say awesome, but they're not too bad. stomping cliffs, well, if you can stomp cliffs then they'l handle just fine.

i love the vct's ...id go for them. its the i ski quiver. it owns. so dope for charging, and it was pretty decent in park for a fat ski.
