Amplid boot

didnt use the search but i just saw this vid and rememberd seeing a blueprint of this boot last year, and i havent heard anything since then, and i cant understand what the dude says

those look kind of cool.  for some reason when I heard they were doing this I pictured the boot line made couple years back that blue version of the full tilt boot.  this boot actually looks pretty solid.

They are working on a boot.  I guess the only people with it right now is alex martini, and maybe one more person, haha.  Anyway i saw em the other day and they looked DOPE.  when they come out. everyone is gonna want them.  its like a cross between fulltilt's/A/Tboots/spk kinda cause the last is a little wider.  they just look like they are gonna be the shit.

i wouldnt say its a touring boot, but they do have a walk mode. so i guess it kinda is, but dont quote me on this, but ime assuming the park boot wont have that feature. or maybe it will it makes sense to have a walk mode for hiking rails, walking in the parking lot, hittin BC booters.  and its a burly feature from what i understand. but ime pretty sure there will be a park and a big mountain model

Thanks for the curiosity about our ski boot. We're currently putting the final touches on it and plan on announcing it's release for 0910.

You might see them around this winter as various pros/shops/patrollers are assisting in the final stage of our R&D process. It's very important that the boot is subjected to various types of terrian and riders before it's release.

As far as specifics about the boot... The video w/ Mati Imbert clearly shows one of the many features we're exctied to provided to the freeski market. The rest will be releaved at ISPO this year!

only gapers walk in the parking lot with their boots on. dont put your boots on in the parking lot, it just wears down the sole

Oh HELL YEA!! for anyone whose not old enough to remember, Lines old transfer boot used that exact mechanism in the heel flex. the boot had some issues, but was nasty. same 3 piece shell as the dalbellos and full tilts.

the thing in the back allows you to do sooooo much, it locks the cuff in any place in its flex, including letting it run unlocked (think flex, but in reverse). the one on the line boot could also switch the upper cuff from locked to the lower to hinging. it was one of the coolest systems ever if you could figure it out. i think the reason they didnt catch on more was cause they didnt mention how it worked at all, so nobody knew what it did.

whats so cool about them, is when they are in the "walk" mode, you can manual like a motherfucker with no shin pain, land crazy backseat, carve switch easier, etc. im definitly gonna be pickin these up.

For the sake of the argument, see above. It's all based off the old Raichle hard shell snowboard
boot for carving boards. Line has been there, done that with moderate success and those people who loved them now ride Full Tilt.
