Skateboarding sting

I was skating down a road today on campus at CU with another guy. three cops were waiting, stopping every skater that went by on the road handing out $100 tickets. By the time I left which was a total of about 15 minutes they wrote up 6 people. This town has way too many cops with nothing to do besides write MIPs, open containers and do stupid shit like this.

^it was on euchlid, about 100 feet past the UMC. I think they moved to another spot.

thats such bullshit. I got a redlight ticket riding my bike home from work on saturday, where folsom hits colorado, I hate boulder cops.

colorado law concerning longboards and skateboard is bullshit. they are nice about it at csu, but technically, you cant ride in the street because it is a toy, and you cant ride on the sidewalk because it is a wheeled vehicle. so, there is no legal place to ride it.
