Now im not a fan of posting personal shit on here and I thought about it, but I think everyone can learn from my mistake.

Im a junior in college, I have a full ride for track and the other week I died twice.I like to party and I like to drink alot, and i do this often. But the other week I over did it. Went over to my buddies house to chill and drink before we went to another party, lets say around 7 we start, Vodka/Red Bull/ and Keystone ice. Starting drinking with the beer then the idea of the redbull cam up and i was all for it sicnce I just started. Make a few of these and next thing I know Im drinking a full cup of Crystal Place Vodka(at leat we got the high class shit haha) and then taken super manshots( 4 shot, shot glass). Some said I did 3 some say 6 the story varies from each person.

Next thing I know I wake up in the hospital naked with a blanket over me and a neck brace with blood all over me, With my parents next to me and my best friend.

This is what went down

As stated I drank alot and got shitty quick. I feel down two storys of stairs and busted my chin to shit. Some how got out side and my "friends" put a helmet on my and shit over my chin. I keep getting worse and worse. All I am wearing is some new jeans that I love and my favorite tee (pre lives) but those later got cut off and my socks also(who the fuck cuts socks and shoes).Well anyway Its like below 40 out opne of those cold nights and my friends leave outside to go to the party.

My buddie is at a different party and leaves to go to the party where everyone is at. But when he realizes im not there he asks around and finds out im at the old place still. He shows up and im out side sitting by a tree. Im purple as shit and after he there for like 5 mins i decide its cool and stop breathing. Thats when he calls the 911. EMS shows up cut all my clothes off and bring me to the hospital. My buddy calls around to get my rents number.

My rents show up and are told to sit in this empty room( where they bring people to tell them people have died) So they are chillen in there for about five hours

While my rents are in there Im covered in heat blankets and heat lamps because my core temp droped down to 94 which is bad. And this is when I flat line for 2 and a hlf mins but then I come back to life. About an hour later it happens again for around the same amount of time. So i was dead for about a total of five mins. I got my stomach pumped and shit cutt of me. A breathing tube and shit shoved down my dick so i could piss.

The legal limit for your BAL is the US is .08 mine was .36

It was this bad because I was left out side for awhile making my core temp drop and the alch takes its affect x100 or what ever

Moral of the story: I may of made it sound like a joke but it isnt, I got really drunk and my friends were trashed and made poor decisions about what to do with me. In the end it is all my fault for drinking that much. And i have my buddy to thank for my life

Now with a special holiday coming up make sure all of you are careful and make sure the people you drink with you trust.

psa I jsut wrote a ten page paper so my grammer/spelling/ and such is going to be horrible in this thread, Just get over it.

anyways really intense story, must've been super scary and a horrible experience for you and everyone who cares about you. nothing more eye-opening than being dead for 5 mins and realizing that it all happened from partying too hard...

Yeah I was left out side with a chin, would have got it glued up but other shit was more important.

It scary shit and I hope people can learn what I did. Know your limits and trust the people you drink with

na i didnt see anything, They put me in a coma so that i could breath and that my body would fight anything they gave me. I was out for awhile and have no memory from taking the shots and waking up. I was out for about 10 hours

The same thing happened to me years ago, just without the falling down the stairs part.  My friend hosed me off after I threw up all over myself and I started going into shock from the cold.  Horrible way to find the limits and learn a lesson.

No lol I live with the one and only invaderskier and he sneeks on here and posts which is where the hate is ( real nice guy in real life but loves pissing off the ppl on here)  and plus the fact that there is snow on the ground makes every skier more chill

yeah listen to this shit and my story is even more fucked but i blew a .4 in a hospital in rhode island and was just fucked cause i lost like $300 cash and had to go to a fucking hospital, but yes drinking in excess is a really bad idea and just count your drinks or some shit and dont get wasted

Wow man, good to hear you are safe though.

I am a freshman in college and in the first 9 weeks I have seen it way too often... people just drink and drink and drink and brag about how they don't remember last night and all this other nonsense... I just don't get it.

Sure, it's no big deal to get drunk and I like to drink from time to time and when I do it is to get drunk, but you have to know your limits. There is a differance between getting a little drunk for fun and having a good time and getting completely smashed and putting your life on the line.

I would rather just roll up a nice joint and chill out anyway besides drinking, I find it much more relaxing. Not to mention much much safer.

Again, good to hear that everything worked out for you and you learned your lesson.

as for your story, good thing you had one good friend, kids can be stuuuupid, especially if they are drunk. Damn you got lucky man.

i dont drink like that anymore, ive heard/seen my fair share of terrible stories, thats enough for me.

shit dude get better. my cousin is a freshman at college in queens in kingston ontario, she was drunk and coming back from some concert off campus where u have to go through some woods. fuckin decided to take a short cut and hopped down what she thot was about a 2 foot cliff and it was actually 20ft. DROPPED broke her back or some shit i dont even know. vertebrae or something. she was in the hospital for 3 weeks and is better now but fuck its sketch man.

Wow that's gnar, I'm glad you're alright now though.

I think knowing your limit comes with experience and time. Lets face it most of us have done sketchy shit with alcohol, you just have to be careful sometimes. One thing that definitely helps is setting a limit before you start drinking. Basically, buy what you think you'll need for that night and that's it, and only bring a certain amount of money to a bar.

kinda happened to a friend of mine

we had a school dance on thursday and she decided to drink for her first time. Long story short shes a really good kid and stuff and didnt know what her limits were. She ended up getting her stomach pumped and a 5 day suspension. I just felt really bad for her because she could have died and thats such a terrible thing to go through.
