so you want to know about the huts at winter park.... i know of 2. the fist and best one is awsome, it is accessable by ladder and hidden in the face of a cliff (small cliff) it even has its own BBQ in it. the second one is tiny. ok.... to get to the first one, go up the summit express on mary jane, and head down towards sunny side, go to roundhouse. at this point you need to know where some unmarked terrain is. if you know how to get to the mushroom patch you are in luck. about 50 ft below the entrance to the mushroom patch off of roundhouse there is usually a small path that leads to the bottom of the cliff, the path is hard to find, you have to really look for it. once at the bottom of the cliff, find the ladder and go up.
for the second hut, go up timberline to parsenn bowl. get off the lift and follow the boundry line off to the left. towards johnstone junction. eventually you will come to a path where you are weaving in and out of trees. take that part slow and look back all the time, you will see a hut hidden inside a group of trees that you wouldnt normally see without looking back.
what now.... ?
