probably about an hours music...use a program called DietMP3 to shrink the files and you'll get more music in the same file size

typical 128 b/sec compression is about 1 MB of music per minute, if you go much less than that you start to lose so major sound quality

Ced, get one with pre loaded memory, so you can have 64 in it, and 64 extra on a card, then you get get like 130 minutes

Mini disks are alot better in my opinion. Cause your not stcuk with the same 40 songs. Each of my disks has 40 songs on it and i can change whnever I want.

I have an irock which has 64MB built in and a slot for a smart media card to expand the memory. I have 192MB which is about 60 or so tracks

i'm lookin for an Ipod or the new Dell jukebox for cheap.... like 5000+ songs.....

i currently have a samsung yepp with 96 mb's and it gets like 1.5 hours of muzak storage....

iPods fucking rule! You can probably get like 10 CDs worth of music into 64mb if you don't care at all about sound quality (ATRAC3 encoding, SONY).
