if immortal technique is the best name you can pop off, then i aint tryin to talk to you.

personally, i think immortal technique is so played out. his lyrics are incredible, dont get me wrong, but its the content i aint really feelin.

his beats are ight but a lot of them sound really similar.

To me it's the content that makes him good... he's a good freestyler but the rhymes in most of his songs are pretty basic; a step above the mainstream artists to be sure but nowhere near a lot of other underground names. The beats, as you said, are OK. But the content... I mean fucking Dance with the Devil? Brilliant on every level.

he's one of the best, if not the best, olympian ever. it has nothing to do with what sport you do. i just found it ironic that even a sport like swimming is down with "gangsta beats" just as most freeskiers enjoy. quit bickering about rap, half you know nothing about raps history or greats, to those who do, you know who you are

Rap makes skiing so much more entertaining, and i think one of the best immortal technique songs is Bin Laden (Featuring Mos Def). not only does it have a sick beat, it beats the shit out of todays government and Bush.

buy the instrumentals to lil wayes the carter 3, they are perfect for skiing, and my favorite song by weezy is Crank Dat Weezy Wee. check it

I don't know why people get so serious over what rap artists they listen to.  I mean just listen to music you like and don't worry what makes you look "thug" or if you think the music makes you feel socially conscious (immortal technique).  Personally I like lil wayne's "white girl music" just because it's fun to listen to. {End Rant}

i'll admit, i enjoy edits to hip hop better than others most of the time.  someone edited some hood footage to this enya type music and i turned me speakers off to watch it.  skiing was aweosme, but i couldnt stand the music. It was depressing me; not a feeling that should be associated with skiing.
