how do you make crazy time lapses that span like over a year? A good example of this is in Planet Earth, where they show like trees changing colour over seasons and mushrooms growing and dying all in like 2, 3 seconds:
oh, and the tree part youre taling about looks really choppy... maybe short video clips taken like twice a month over a year, then put together? that might be why the weather never changes, they filmed it during good days.
They used cameras that were in position for the time that the shoot lasted, they were on really slow moving robotic arms too to create the shots where its a panning timelapse, a lot of it was done with video which is why its soooo smooth. rediculously cool, lots of hard work and some super editing.
