What are some good beat makers for mac ?

i tryed acid 6.0 but i don't think i can use that for mac. i can get any torrent if you give me some good beat makers besides garage band that are pretty easy to get used to. + karm, thanks

Well there arent many that i know of that are free but i would recomend....

Reason-$500
Logic Studio or Logic pro i dont know how much

I have used both of these and reasons deffinately easier to pick up quickly but if your doing serious stuff logic is the way to go!

Ableton live

just download the ableton live demo. you can do most things but not save stuff i believe

you can get ableton 7 on tones of torrent sites. as for whats easier reason vs ableton. reason is more of vst/synth and the sequencer is kinda of shitty. ableton's sequencer is the craziest thing since sliced bread but the sounds are average. so you should use Rewire on reason and hook it up to ableton so you have the best of both worlds.
