alright for speed i got a couple tips, you kinda gotta experiment with different things until you find something that works but we found this to work
1. our drop in is 3 to 3.5 feet tall and 9 feet long, so we have a pretty decent slope
2. we've tried our set up on flat ground and it doesnt work, so we have the drop and the transition on a slight slope which definately helps
3. we use just plain green turf that you can get at menards, lowes, or home depot whatever, and then we use shampoo and spray it down with a hose.

try those things out and see what happens, if it doesnt work just keep tryin and you'll figure something out

yeah i use turf and soap but my inrun is way longer and steeper but its slower than yours. but its just layed out on grass so thats probably why
