snonasty, most of my friends and family are hunters, and we all save the meat. If fact, I don't know one single hunter that hunts just for sport. We guestimate that between my dad, my brother, my sister and me all hunting, we save about $1500 a year in meat. That's like 3 season passes!

skisundownjib your facts are wrong. That statistic counts citizens from 0 to 18 years old as children. They are counting gang-bangers in the city as children. The 16-18yr old age range is on of the highest crime rate catagories---so no shit they are dying from gun shots. But don't be fooled, it's not 4 year olds that are getting shot, it's drug dealers in the city. And here is your useless fact for the day, Children are far more likely to die in a fire that they themselves started than to be shot. Oh, and they are also like 10X times more likely to dround in their own pool than get shot too.

Freezy Yes, that verry same thing happned in California, Washington DC, NY city, Australia and Canada when the citizens lost their right to own guns.

guns should never be banned...alot of people say that guns kill people but its really the person holding the gun kills and yes some laws have been passed to make sure that guns don't get passed to people that commit crimes which is a good thing..thats my 2 cents

I dont know if this fact was already added to the post as I have not read them all.

But in England in 1997 one of the biggest seizures of registered guns was undertaken. Nearly all civilian guns beside .22 caliber target rifles were confisgated. Since that time, robberies, burglaries, and murders have increase by a surprising amount. The citizens were left with nothing to protect themsleves with. While the illegal guns in the hands of the criminals were not seized and there ones used it crime. Since 1997, criminals have nothing to fear from avergae citizens as they know that they probibly do not posses weapons in their home.

This is one example of gun control gone wrong.

Yeah in England, which has strict gun control laws, there has been a huge increase in gun crimes over the last year or so. Drive-by shooting are now relatively common, especially in places like London and in the north. Some crazy shit going on.
