i thought it should have ended with harvey dent became two face, and then that should have been the 3rd movie. i cant believe i didnt realize it was two face when he flipped the coin the first couple of times. i realized it right when his face caught on fire though.

other than edward norton in american history x, this will go down, in my opinion as one of the best performances EVER, by heath ledger, period.

its 3:15 a.m. in Wisconsin, i just got home from the theatre, and I loved that movie
Heath Ledger captured the jokers insanity beautifully

as for the comment on a third movie about two face, that is an absolutely awful idea, that would be a horrible movie and i'm glad that it ended like it did

if that had happened i would have been so sad. first of all there was a lot more joker madness to be seen. second, i can't think of the actor's name, but whoever played two-face would have been way too shitty of a villain to hold down the roll for an entire movie. if anyone can top heath ledger's craziness i'll be impressed. it was pretty amazing. i knew it was him acting and there were maybe 3 moments where i could tell it was him, granted he had face paint, still amazing.

It was super good, but personally I like Batman Begins better. Not sure why but to me it was more... epic.

2nd best movie of the summer. Wall-e tops it without a doubt.

I wanted to come home last night and just...invent something and go fight an evil person or something. Or hug Heath Ledger. Not his dead body.

Oh. My. God. He was amazing! Everyone in that movie was amazing. I just couldn't believe it. The cinemetography, the animation, THE BATMOTORCYCLE!!!!!!!!

I saw Wall-e and i don't even know how you can compare the movies, one is about some gay robot love story, while the other one has a twisting plot with the best acting I have seen in a wile.

I should of used the word Lame instead of Gay, i apologize.... I never said it wasn't good either, i just said I dont know how you can compare the two movies, it would be like comparing apples and oranges....

I agree, i shouldn't have used "gay" to describe it to begin with. But just after seeing Dark Knight comparing the two movies didnt make sense, so I used a harsh adj. And Lame was the only other word i could think of to replace "gay" without completely changing what the word meant.

Overall I liked the film, there were just a couple things that bothered me. Overall, Batman wasn't nearly as much fun to watch as the first film. There was no real movement in his character, he just got a new suit with a new set of toys. The rest of the good guys were pretty static as well. Rachel, Gordon and Alfred towed their standard lines, while Two Face was disposed of too quickly after using so much of the film to develop his character.

Now that said, The Joker was absolutely brilliant. I haven't seen a performance like that since Marlin Brando in "A Streetcar Named Desire". In one way it makes his passing even more troublesome, but in another it makes it tolerable - is acting was genius, most actors never achieve what he did in that role and maybe that stands as some small consolation.

Ledger's performance aside, Wall-E struck me as the better of the two films (if I were forced to make a comparison). Where I would make no adjustments to the  plot or presentation of Wall-e, the Dark Night leaves me less satisfied.
