Does anyone get tired of their stupid girlfriend?

my girlfrined thinks WHEELS and TIRES are the same thing. i had 17 inch wheels on my car, get 15 inch ones. the 15's had shitty tires, so i bought 4 new ones. apparently she thinks wheels and tires are the same thing, and that a 17 inch tire can be used on a 15 inch wheel... she has asked me about 20 times why i didnt use the old 17 inch tires on the new wheels. there is no getting through to the female sex sometimes.

oh, and is it out of the norm at pay 370 bucks for 4 good tires? cuz apparently, someone else thinks it is.

i just need to vent, sorry. post all your stupid girlfriend stories.

she doesnt sound stupid. she just sounds like a normal person. lots of people think wheels/tires are the same. if you dont want her ill take her. be happy you have a girl man.

Depends on the kind of tire it is.  I mean, I have a truck and it does cost more but I pay about $900 for tires after tax.  So if its for a car then it seems to be a good deal.  Anyway, that's funny about your fight, my ex was the same way, didnt know the difference between wheels and tires.  Don't even try, they wont get it..lol.  Just go with it and move on, that's what I did.

that is true. but when ive explained 5+ times that tires are rubber and wheels are metal, it gets annoying. my life pretty much revolves around cars and work. when im not at work im doing somthing involving cars whether its working on them or honda meets or some random shit. i think she just doesnt pay attention when it comes to automobiles. as long as it gets you from point a to point b thats all that matters to her i guess

it seems like you got a decent deal on your tires though, doesn't sound like too much to me.

ok, you know about vehicles, and you have been to honda meets? i must meet you, i may be in love. all the girls that im friends with (not my girlfriend obviously) drive hondas, nice ones, and go to meets with us all the time. when we went to nopi there were more girls than guys. one girl i know drives an 800hp CRX

HAHA. Well my exBF rebuilt a few so he would take me all the time. Tampa has a very large racing scene. But shit. I would kill for a CRX. I would kill three people for an 800hp CRX.

I look at each and every car as a piece of art or a musical piece. Just lifting the hood of a car and looking at a painted cam cover with a background of black and gray is like looking at Picasso. Or whenever I see an Aston Martin I hear classical music playing - mostly Mozart. Just thinking about the mechanics of a car is just amazing.

i work at a tire shop, soooooooo, it really depends on what size of tire, wat speed rating, if there is one, usually for lo profile tires. but wat brand, was model of tire, and of course tread depth. every single one of those things is taken into account when a tire is priced.

Nope. Polish is just paint specifically used for your fingernails that is super shiny. Girls don't put matte paint on their fingernails. But there is a clearcoat that you can put over nail polish that makes it super super shiny.

im currently in the midst of building a 89 eagle summit with a 4g63 swap for my buddy. he just bought a 60-1 for it and lets just say it will not have traction until about 100mph or more. i personally want to build an NA s2000 sooo badly. im just waiting to move out to cali so i can DD it.

 oh and my ex gf hated me because i spent more time working on my integra than anything. ls vtec with 50 trim, shearer manifold, fully built suspension where most of my money was spent on. sickest 4dr around here, then i blew it up and got depressed and sold it, now i rock a jeep, wrx wagon, and a 07 r6
