alright so heres the deal, last week I was at work in a information kiosk, and a guy came in with a large backpack looking for a hostel, i hooked him up and then me him and a buddy ended up talking. he was backpacking from holland and looking for something to do the following day. there is nothing for tourists to do really in our town thats interesting, so we decided to take him out wakeboarding. after a full day of hanging out with the guy i defenetly knew he was a good guy and was legit. so i bring him back to my house to get some supper.
my dad sees him and pulls me off to the side telling me to get out right now and i should know better than to bring strangers home. so we leave and go get a pizza.
The guy from holland then ends up sleeping at my freinds house who we hung out with that day too, and his parents are totally cool with it, and are glad to pick up some worldly knowledge and stories. he even stays the next night too.
now i have always known my dad to be very strict and a big stress case, but he should know i wouldnt bring someone home who is going to steal from us.
so i guess what im getting at is some people are different, but would you trust someone to go into your house you dont know? i didnt really see the big deal with it, he was a great guy and was really funny.
