and curious on what you guys do to entertain yourself on the lift or t-bar.

chairlift:
1. pull the snow off your skis and throw snowballs at either people skiing, or your buddies on the lift in front/behind you.
2. take a piss off the lift
3. play the "dropped your pocket" game.  Basically, you just yell as loud as you can "you dropped your pocket" to someone skiing by, and see if they stop and look. Its especially fun when they take off their skis or snowboard to walk up the hill because they believe they dropped their pocket.

During the ride:

Snowball gapers
Yell at people that they dropped stuff
Throw your poles up and try to catch them again.
Try and get them over the rope, ONLY FOR EXPERTS AT THE POLE GAME!
Talk to gapers about random stuff.
Try and convince them about stupid things. EG: Snow snakes,yetis, "the snowboard park"

if you sit like in the middle of the chair and there`s random people around you just look at a random spot and yell like "hey what up dude" and all the other people will look there too but there is nobody...

f.ex. there's a tree, you kinda look around untill you see the tree, then you act like surprised and yell and wave, all the other people are gonna think there's one of your friends standing next to the tree or whatever, and they're gonna look out like crazy

i've never done it, but i know someone who used to explain to their gaper sidekick that they are deathly afraid of heights, and warn them that if the chairlift stops the gaper will need to restrain them from jumping.  he had some interesting experiences with that

We only have t-bars at my local mtn, so we just cruise from left to right and try to drop each other of the track. Also snowballs and if there is thrash it must be jumped over. And butters

t-bar: making up gettoe beats to rap about the fat kid

chairlift: yelling "u lost something" when some one falls and they start looking for it. then u guide them up the hill to look for it and then yell out "your balance!" its more effective when youre a bunch of chairlifts in a row laughing at the guy.

oh yah on t bars i like riding it like im wake skiing, and also this is fun to do and scares the shit out of the liftie, ride the chair in switch:P this one time on the chair lift I pretended to be super scared of the chair and like jumped off of the chair making myself dangle from it by holding on.... everyone was freaking out exept me and my friend who was laughing. it was funny until i had to get back up, I almost didnt :O

I like to take off my skis and stand on the chairlift. I also yell at people on the chairlift parallel to the one I'm on. My hill has 2 chairlifts that go the exact same way about 20 feet from each other.

i have invented a new reality gameshow called "ask a gaper/racer/snowboarder" basically you whip out a camera on the lift or wherever you are and ask said person questions. I was thinking mainly freesking stuff but you could also throw in other random shit or stuff related to them, like if u were talking to a racer ask like "who won the world cup this year" (answer is bode miller and lidsey vonn if u were wondering) I think the best one would definatly be ask racers/gapers to "define steeze" or "how do you get to the bottom chads from alta?". if i can find my video camera im gonna try it out at hood next week orjust wait till next season. video will be posted.

One day we bought cheeseburgers from mcdonalds and threw them off the lift,  just like negs urban sports or whatever.  Also penis game,  picking up huge chunks of ice and dropping them on buildings, yelling random names at people to see if they respond.  Seeing who will pull the bar up last is fun also.   Last year when I was selling hats I made them while on the chairlfit.  Ive also done my homework on the lift.
