How long does snow typically last?

so i finally got my setup finished. i have tried detergent and it sucks. i have also tried snowgel. it works like magic but i dont want to spend $20 every third time i want to use it. so my question is, if i get snow from an ice rink how much should i get (in terms of number of garbage cans or something of that nature), and how long will it last? mad karma for anyone who helps me

with my setup i got 2 garbage cans and it was more than enough because i just put it ontop of my setup like my jump and stuff but i would say 3 if you are building your jump out of snow
and it was night time when i did it so the snow lasted longer and it lasted about 2 hours at like 70 degrees but i had snow left over so i could patch it together when it got bare
so i would say depending on the heat 3 cans could last you about 2 or 3 hours or more if its cold out

if your doing it outside during the day its probably going to be hot. in that hot blazing sun it could last like 2 hours at most, probably less. i would get a lot extra so you could just keep putting it on

last time i used it, i only got like a quarter bucket full and half of it was water. am i doing something wrong?

I would advise getting like 2 garbage ans and just putting thin layers on so you can keep re applying and if you have turf than it wont take much to make it slide good

snow usually works at first but after about an hour or 2 shit just starts getting sloppy you know...if you can build a drop witht the right tranny and kicker and put turf on it...all you need is water and soap
