so in november my mom put a pair of jeans that contained my ipod in the washing machine. It didnt turn on after, and there was noticable water in it. I bring it too the apple store, they plug it in and try a bunch of stuff to fix it and nothing. Now, a couple of days ago, precisly july 1st, i plug it in just to see if there was anything, and it turns on, and all of my music and everything was still on there, it was a sign from god, he loves me.....
this thread has no meaning, hansel said it was cool so i posted it

yeah as long as your shit is off you can drop whatever you want in water. It needs to be on to short circuit so just let the stuff dry

dude i just did this a week ago. jumped in my pool and swam for like 45 until i realized it was in my gym shorts pocket ( i didnt think those shorts had a pocket but they did..). didnt work for a couple days so i waited a week and pushed the middle button and all my music was there working fine.

haha no i was just making jokes... lol but yeah rice or sawdust will get the moisture out, rice is probably better since sawdust is a bitch to clean up when its wet or has collected moisture, especially if youre someone who might put sawdust right into the internals of the electronic device (no i did not try that)
